Job summary
Assisting Hands Home Care of Palm Beach is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to provide a combination of personal care, homemaking, and companionship services for clients in Pasco County and surrounding areas. You will help clients feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own homes.
Responsibilities include bath assistance, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal prep, transportation, and medication reminders.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable form of transportation.
- Must be able to work with male and female clients.
- Must pass a Level II Background Check.
- Proof of a Negative TB Screening.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided).
- Alzheimer's / Dementia Certification (training provided).
- HIV / AIDS Certification (training provided).
Responsibilities
- Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults in clients' homes.
- Personal care assistance (bathing, toileting, dressing, personal hygiene).
- Monitor client safety within the home; provide supervision.
- Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, etc.).
- Ambulation and transferring assistance.
- Transportation assistance for doctor appointments and errands.
- Grocery shopping / online shopping assistance.
- Meal preparation.
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with clients' personal goals and medication reminders.
