Qualifications

• At least 1 year caregiving experience preferred in home care, nursing homes, or similar settings.
• CNA or HCA credential preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with elderly clients; observations and reporting techniques.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and reliability.
• Demonstrates empathy, patience, and genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and address dietary needs, including special diets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment with light housekeeping.
• Foster social engagement and companionship for emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance.
• Observe and report changes to healthcare providers or family.
• Support geriatric clients, including those with dementia, arthritis, or mobility issues.
• Collaborate with families and care teams for coordinated, personalized care.
