Job summary

HomeWell Care Services WA326 seeks compassionate caregivers to join our Bellevue-based team, delivering hands-on, in-home care that upholds dignity, safety, and independence for clients. You will work under a Care Manager to implement each client’s plan and provide companionship, personal care, and support with daily activities.

The role emphasizes empathy, reliability, and teamwork, with a focus on client confidentiality and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Washington State Home Care Aid (HCA) certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current TB test status as required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Minimum of one year of documented caregiving experience.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively with clients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide Assistance with Daily Living (ADL), Companionship and Respite care as directed by the Client Care Plan.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping, including bed linens, and keep the client’s space clean and safe.
• Prepare meals, clean up afterward, and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders to support self‑administration.
• Support skin care and repositioning to help prevent skin breakdown.
• Assist with range-of-motion exercises per the client’s care plan.
• Assist with walking, transferring, and transportation to appointments and errands.
• Record vital signs, height, weight and intake/output as required.
• Follow infection control precautions and use equipment properly and safely.
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Uphold client rights, including privacy, dignity, consent, and confidentiality of information.
