Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in the Portland East area. You’ll provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, light household chores, meal preparation, and companionship, with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

The team supports ongoing training and mileage reimbursement. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 10–50 lbs, pass background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lbs rarely
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record to get to client visits
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle required

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• Other activities of daily living as assigned
