Job summary

Right At Home in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a Caregiver for dayshift to provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities.

You will assist with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation, while following care plans and HIPAA regulations. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with flexible schedules and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving, home health, assisted living, or nursing home experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, and client care plans.
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
