Job summary

Right At Home South Columbus Metro in Groveport, OH is urgently seeking compassionate caregivers for dayshift, non-medical in-home care. You will assist seniors with daily living, provide companionship, prepare meals, and help with light housekeeping and transportation as needed.

We value reliability, clear communication, and respect for client privacy. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules and paid training.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Current auto insurance (if transporting clients).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers when necessary.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition.
• Maintain documentation of services provided.
