CareBuilders at Home in Fullerton, CA is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients at home or in care settings. You will provide one-on-one care to help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent, while building trusting relationships with families.

The role emphasizes ADLs assistance, companionship, light housework, and transportation support, with an emphasis on safety and empathy. Training and meaningful community work are highlighted in the benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• HCA registration required or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Pass pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check
• Current TB clearance or willingness to obtain per CA requirements
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to assist with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping (meal preparation, laundry, tidying up)
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Observe and report client’s daily activities and changes in client condition or behavior
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
