Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Fullerton, CA is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one support in clients' homes. Compensation starts at $18.50 per hour, based on experience and certifications.

You will assist with activities of daily living, offer companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Valid CA TB clearance and background check are required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• HCA registration required or willingness to obtain (assistance available)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Pre-employment screenings including criminal background check; drug screening may be required
• Current TB clearance within past 90 days or willingness to obtain per California requirements
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility, standing, walking, bending

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with light housekeeping (meal prep, laundry, tidying)
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and dependable Caregivers who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes or care settings.

• Current TB clearance (within the past 90 days) or willingness to obtain prior to employment, in accordance with California requirements.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation, including assisting clients with mobility, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds when appropriate.
• Able to speak, read, and write English and communicate effectively with the office team members (bilingual abilities are a plus).
