Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care of Palm Beach is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers in Odessa, FL to provide personal care, homemaking and companionship for clients in their own homes. You will help with daily activities, safety and comfort, enabling clients to stay independent and supported where they love to be.

We offer training and flexible schedules, with opportunities to obtain CPR/First Aid and dementia certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with elderly/disabled clients in home settings.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications and trainings.
• Pass a Level II Background Check and regular TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for elderly and/or disabled adults in clients' homes.
• Personal Care: bathing, toileting, dressing, hygiene as needed.
• Monitor safety and supervise activities in the home.
• Light housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, trash duties.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and transportation to appointments.
• Grocery/online shopping support and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support with personal goals.
• Provide friendly reminders for medications and routine checks.
