Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in Willowbrook, IL. We offer paid training, weekly pay, direct deposit, flexible hours, and mileage/time travel between clients.

The role is full-time, part-time, or live-in with pay from $19 to $20 per hour. Requirements include 1+ year of home care experience, a driver license, ability to follow care plans, and a compassionate bedside manner.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience required: 1+ year
• Ability to follow health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary needs
• Compassionate, respectful bedside manner
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in the USA

Responsibilities

• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan
