Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks is hiring in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Rogersville and Willard to provide in-home care services. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, brighten the lives of seniors who can benefit from a helping hand and a friendly smile.
Our caregivers empower seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a positive attitude, with a flexible schedule and compassionate client care.
Qualifications
- Enjoy working with our senior population.
- Be caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable.
- Understand the importance of our services to our seniors.
- Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism at SHS.
- Follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan.
- Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks are completed.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.
- Shopping and errands.
- Meal preparation.
- Medication reminders.
- Pet care.
- Light yard work and light handyman services.
- Overnight supervision.
- Incidental transportation to appointments or social activities.
