Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a compassionate HomeCaregiver to provide personal care, grooming, mobility assistance, and companionship to clients in their own homes. You will help with meals, light housekeeping, and monitor well-being under an established plan of care. Excellent communication and reliability are essential.

The role emphasizes dignity, privacy, and independence while supporting clients in daily activities and safety. Training and CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be a high school graduate, have a GED, or demonstrate the ability to read the written personal care services assignment and write adequately to complete required forms and reports of visits.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well with aged and disabled individuals who have limited functioning capacity;
• Ability to communicate both verbal and written.
• Capable of working responsibly with confidential information.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must maintain current and active first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care needs such as mouth and denture care, shaving and grooming.
• Assist with bathing, dressing and toileting; help with mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Assist with medication reminders and supervision as required.
• Ensure a clean, safe home environment and report changes to caregivers.
