Job summary

A First Name Basis (AFNB) seeks caring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in Louisiana. You will perform personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments while maintaining dignity and safety for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred CNA certification or Home Health Aide training.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Remind about medications and accompany clients to appointments.
• Document care and report changes in client health.
• Travel to client homes and maintain a safe, clean home environment.
