Job summary

Decena Home Care, LLC in Northern Virginia seeks a on-site Caregiver for full-time day-to-day support in clients' homes. Responsibilities include homemaker tasks, private duty care, companionship, and travel assistance with safety oversight.

The role covers 24-hour/overnight care, including morning/evening routines and tuck-in, as well as palliative care support. Must have caregiving experience, US work authorization, and valid CPR/First Aid certs. Driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of caregiving or related experience.
• U.S. work authorization.
• Ability to provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Experience with medication reminders and monitoring vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Homemaker tasks: grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping, cooking, meals, laundry.
• Private duty care: assistance with bathing, oral hygiene, toileting including incontinence care, dressing, grooming.
• Companionship: conversation, reading, games, walks, safety supervision.
• Travel companion: assist clients during trips with safety supervision.
• 24 Hour / Overnight care: include morning/evening routines and tuck-in.
• Palliative care: pain management, symptom management, emotional support.
