Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Caregiver for a full-time role, providing essential support to clients in their homes and ensuring comfort, safety and well-being through personalized care and daily assistance.

Responsibilities include ADLs, meal prep, hydration, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and engaging clients in activities. In-person care is provided in clients' homes with flexible hours (40–80 hours per week) and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
• Dependable with excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Maintain client safety through wellness checks and environmental monitoring
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being
• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team
• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs
