Job summary

Care at Home by JFS in Connecticut is seeking a reliable caregiver to provide ongoing home care for one client. You will assist with daily activities, bathing, dressing, mobility, meal prep, and transportation to appointments.

Ideal candidates bring patience, strong communication, and a self-directed approach. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; CNA is a plus. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• MUST have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance.
• Available for 4-, 6-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts, mornings or evenings, weekdays and weekends.
• Minimum of 3 years of home care experience.
• Self-directed and independent.

Responsibilities

• Driving client to appointments
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal care
• Helping with transfers, mobility, and repositioning
• Providing oral, hair, skin, and nail care
• Incontinence care and toileting
• Assisting with feeding and PT exercises
• Offering socialization, engagement, and support
• Meal preparation and cooking
• Medication reminders
• Client laundry and light housekeeping
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
