Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers in Washington state to assist clients with daily living activities and support quality of life. The role includes caregiving duties, transportation, and companionship with flexible day shifts.

Paid training is available, with weekly pay and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs occasionally.
• Own a smartphone with a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Complete household chores including cleaning, laundry and dishes.
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients to stores or appointments as needed.
• Monitor client condition and report changes to supervisor.

Pay Range: $18.25 to $21.75

• Every day of the week between 8am-7pm. The more availability you have, the more shifts available to you.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and grooming
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• comfortable or willing to learn Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Plus

• Caregiver experience preferred, but paid training is available
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle
• Available for day, short shifts between 8am-6pm
• Weekend Availability a plus
• Memory care experience a plus
• Part time 20-30 hrs a week * can lead to full time

Additional Information

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! The recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
• Washington only - If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

Requirements
