Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is hiring caregivers in Washington to provide compassionate, in-home care. You will help with daily tasks, meal preparation and personal care, while offering companionship and support.

Training is provided, and you may earn mileage reimbursement and weekly pay as part of a supportive team. We value reliable transportation, flexible availability including weekends, and a commitment to improving clients’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to lift 10–50 lb.
• Must own a smartphone with a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Able to transport clients in their own vehicle.
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed.
• Flexibility to adapt to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes.
• Prepare meals or assist with cooking.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Drive clients to stores or appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report on clients' condition and well-being.
• Learn and use Hoyer lifts and gait belts as required.

Pay Range

$18.25 to $21.75

• paid training and milage reimbursement

Current Client Needs

• Every day of the week between 8am-7pm. The more availability you have, the more shifts available to you. WEEKENDS IN HIGH NEED

Caregiver Job Duties

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and grooming. (Personal Care)
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition
• comfortable or willing to learn Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Plus

• Caregiver experience preferred, but paid training is available
• REQUIRED: must be able to transport clients in reliable vehicle
• Available for day, short shifts between 8am-6pm
• Weekend Availability a plus
• Memory care experience a plus
• Part time 20-30 hrs a week *can lead to full time

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
