Job summary

Senior Helpers is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Davis area. Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities, with an emphasis on preserving independence and dignity.

The role offers flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and a supportive team environment. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, and applicants must have active Home Care Aid registration and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Active Home Care Aid registration required.
• Background check must be passed.
• Current TB test required.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain open communication with seniors, families and staff.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities as needed.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Assist with ADLs and transfers as assigned.
• Provide transportation when required.
• Administer medication reminders and manage scheduling.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
