Job summary

Elevate in Colorado seeks an in-home caregiver to provide nonmedical services and assistance to clients in their homes and community, enabling them to remain in their residence. The caregiver must be comfortable with private home settings and maintain a professional, compassionate demeanor.

The role includes ADL/IADL support, meal planning, light housekeeping, companionship, transportation, and daily activity documentation following the client care plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must provide services according to the client care plan.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; clear English.
• Ability to read and write clear English.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must have I-9 eligibility documents.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Housekeeping and safety competencies as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living per care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Meal planning and preparation.
• Light housekeeping within 20% of shift time.
• Escort clients to appointments and errands.
• Report and document daily activities and observations.
• Ensure client safety and supervise home environment.
• Communicate with supervisor and care team.
