Job summary

Namaste Home Care is seeking dedicated in-home caregivers to provide nonmedical assistance to clients in their own homes and communities. You will help clients maintain independence, safety, and comfort in daily living while following care plans and reporting changes to the supervisor.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal planning, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to effectively communicate with the client and the office staff.
• Ability to read and write clear English.
• Able to pass background checks
• Able to pass drug screening
• Current driver’s license
• Valid I-9 documents
• Valid vehicle insurance and registration

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and security by supervising the home environment.
• Provide companionship and social interaction per care plan.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation and serving the client.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks and light cleaning as allowed by the care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Escort clients to medical facilities, errands, and outings as specified in the care plan.
