Job description

Hands and Hearts Home Care is looking for Caregivers or CNAs to care for elderly or disabled individuals of all ages in their homes. We want to set you up for success right from the beginning while continuing to provide support throughout your time as a part of our Hands and Hearts family. Starting with a quick and easy onboarding process, you could start your first shift in as little as three days or less. We will discuss different clients and their schedules before assigning, allowing you to choose when and where you work. This allows us to better "fit" you and your potential client, providing better consistency.

We currently have hours available in the Lexington, West Columbia, Columbia, and Gaston/Swansea areas for full-time or part-time schedules!

Responsibilities

  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Transport and accompany patients to the doctor's office or hospital
  • Assist with clients' personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patients' care records and document provided services
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
  • Provide companionship and essential emotional or psychological support

Requirements:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience in the medical field
  • No felonies on SLED background check
  • Clean drug screening
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to operate app(s) on phone to clock in/out
