Job summary

AmeriCare Plus is hiring for in-home CNA/NA/PCA roles to provide compassionate care in clients' homes. Flexible schedules include full-time, part-time, and PRN options with day shifts Monday through Friday.

Caregivers assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping while offering companionship and monitoring health changes. Virginia driver’s license and references are required, with online PCA training available for uncertified applicants.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for PCA)
• Reliable transportation and Virginia driver’s license
• SS card and 2 professional references
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair)
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
