Job summary

Savens Homecare Services LLC is seeking a compassionate In Home Caregiver to provide high quality care to clients in their homes in Chicopee, MA. The role focuses on activities of daily living, safety, and supportive communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, monitoring vital signs, light housekeeping, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a related field.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
• Monitor clients vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
• Communicate with clients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
