Job summary

Caring Companions, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide to support clients in Torrington and surrounding towns. The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable care with mobility assistance, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Requirements include CT CNA or HHA certification, valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, and the ability to work 10am–2pm shifts with a team-oriented, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut or HHA.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care plans.
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
