Village Caregiving in Miltona, MN is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to support clients with daily living activities, medication reminders, and gentle personal care. The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication to coordinate with family and medical staff.

Offers hourly wage starting at $18–$22, daily pay option, paid training, and flexible scheduling. Previous caregiving experience and CPR readiness within 30 days are required to help clients maintain independence at home.

Formación

• Previous caregiver experience.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification or eligible to obtain within 30 days.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful bedside manner.

Responsabilidades

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist with personal care.
• Help clients with hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support with physical therapy exercises and mobility.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients shopping.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family.
• Report unusual incidents to the care team and family.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Personal Care Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Report any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family members
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Personal Care Assistant REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous caregiver experience
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
