Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving in Austin, TX seeks an In-Home Caregiver to provide compassionate, client‑centered care. You will implement care plans, assist with daily living activities, and support clients with mobility, nutrition, safety, and companionship in their homes.

The role requires 1+ year of senior caregiving experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible hours may be available, with opportunities for growth and local expansion.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience with seniors
• Sufficient communication and language skills to perform duties
• Able to lift 50 lbs. safely
• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers, and hear/see
• Capable of driving a vehicle safely

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Execute client care plans and document daily activities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Provide clients with household assistance, including food preparation, monitoring home safety, and light housekeeping

• Provide clients with personal care assistance, including hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, and companionship

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)

• Must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population

• Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers, and talk, hear, and see

• Must be physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

Compensation:

• Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

• Pay: Starting at $15-$20/hr, pay range reflects caregiver experience and client care requirements.
