Job summary

Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking Home Care Caregivers to provide compassionate, personalized support to seniors in Appleton and the surrounding Fox Cities communities. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with various schedules, including day, evening, and overnight shifts.

As a caregiver, you'll help clients maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and comfort. Training and mentorship are provided for all caregivers, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the field or experienced professionals alike.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one‑on‑one care that enhances each client's quality of life while promoting independence, safety, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition
• Offering medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and household assistance
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands
• Assisting with mobility and fall prevention
• Supporting clients living with Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and other age‑related conditions
• Promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
• Building trusting, lasting relationships with clients and their families

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Paid training provided for qualified candidates
