Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Tacoma seeks compassionate caregivers to support clients in daily living activities. The role includes helping with chores, meal preparation, personal care, and providing companionship in clients' homes.

Caregivers are matched with clients based on experience, availability, and preferences. We offer paid orientation, travel time reimbursement, ongoing training, and a supportive team around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass state and national background checks.
• Personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients to store or appointments when needed.
• Monitor and report on clients' condition to supervisors.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Pay range is $22.75-23.25/hr

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Personal vehicle for client transporting, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
