Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers in the Puget Sound area, including Orting. We offer flexible scheduling, consistent hours and pay, and a supportive team to help you thrive while delivering high-quality in-home care.

As a caregiver, you will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure their safety during transportation to appointments. Training and orientation are provided, with opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass state and national background check
• Personal vehicle for client transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, meals, hygiene, grooming)
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients to store or appointments as needed
• Monitor client condition and report changes to supervisor
• Maintain clean and safe living environment for clients

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• • Pay range is $22.75-23.25/hr

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Personal vehicle for client transporting, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
