Job summary

Home Instead Spokane, WA is hiring Care Professionals to help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and support families with a person-centered approach.

This role offers flexible part-time and full-time schedules, with paid training and opportunities for advancement. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, along with the ability to obtain HCAC certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and active car insurance.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work within 15 miles of home.
• Available to work at least 18 hours per week.
• Available to work at least one weekend day.
• Able to obtain HCAC certification if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare nutritious meals.
• Help with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Support individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Partner with families and care teams to provide compassionate, person-centered care.
• Offer comfort and support during hospice and end-of-life care.
