Right at Home Merrillville, IN is seeking experienced caregivers to work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following clear care plans and receiving the support needed to provide quality care.

The role emphasizes compassion, with flexible shifts (12-hour day, overnight, day/evening), reliable transportation, and opportunities for ongoing training as you help clients in Schererville, Cedar Lake, Dyer, and St. John.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving experience.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Support meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Provide hands-on care for bed-bound clients, including bathing and repositioning.
• Care for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other conditions.
• Maintain patience and professionalism in challenging situations.
