Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Santa Rosa is seeking experienced caregivers to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes across Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. If you have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience and take pride in delivering dependable, respectful care, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing and personal care, mobility transfers, meals, companionship, light housekeeping, and documenting services.

• Reliable, responsible and able to travel to clients' homes.

Caregiver - Full-Time & Part-Time | Flexible Schedules

Homewatch CareGivers of Santa Rosa is looking for experienced, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care and support to clients in their homes throughout Santa Rosa and surrounding Sonoma County communities.

If you have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience and take pride in providing dependable, respectful care, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Every client is different, but your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene
• Helping with walking, mobility, positioning and transfers
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating when needed
• Providing companionship and meaningful interaction
• Assisting with light housekeeping and everyday household routines
• Providing reminders and support with daily activities
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs
• Documenting the care and services provided

Your role is about more than completing a list of tasks. You'll help clients remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible in their own homes.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Experience providing hands-on personal care
• Dependable, responsible and committed to scheduled shifts
• Comfortable assisting clients with mobility and transfers
• Able to follow an individualized care plan and document services provided
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients' homes

Even Better If You Have

• Experience supporting clients with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
• Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing or similar settings
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Additional caregiver training or certifications
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
