Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers to join our award-winning team to provide in-home care in the Tacoma area. We value dedicated individuals with current HCA or CNA license, daytime availability, and a willingness to transport clients.

You will perform ADLs, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and accompany clients to appointments. We offer flexible schedules, paid orientation, travel time reimbursement, and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HCA or CNA license.
• General daytime availability; willing to work short shifts.
• Must be able to transport clients and work DAY shifts, DAILY and WEEKENDS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and dishes.
• Provide meals or meal preparation.

Our Tacoma branch services Tacoma, Fife, Lakewood, Gig Harbor and nearby surrounding areas! Our open shifts and needs are ever-changing. We are currently looking for caregivers that have a current HCA or CNA license, general day time availability, willing to work short shifts, and that can transport clients. We are looking for candidates available for DAY shifts, DAILY and WEEKENDS!

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Pay range is $22.75-$23.25/hr

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Personal vehicle for client transporting, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
