Base pay range

$11.00/hr - $15.00/hr

Position Overview

Happier at Home NC is seeking a passionate Caregiver to provide hands-on services in clients' homes under the supervision of a qualified supervisor. Responsibilities include personal care tasks, supervision of activities, home management, meal prep, companionship, and respite care.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer one year of care experience in a home setting
• Must pass criminal background check, Nurse Aide Registry, and CPR certification
• Ability to read, write in English, and follow instructions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility, bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, and continence
• Support prescribed exercises and ADLs
• Provide or assist with medication management
• Supervise client activities and perform home management tasks
• Document visits and communicate with supervisors
• Report emergencies immediately
• Follow the written Plan of Care and agency policies

Functional Abilities

• Ability to read 12-point font or larger
• English speaking and listening skills
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, and carry up to 10 pounds
• Travel to client residences required
