Job summary

Home Instead in Northern Kentucky is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain at home with dignity. We offer paid training, friendly staff, and support with client introductions to help you settle in.

Choose shifts 4–12 hours, with daily or weekly pay options and mileage reimbursement. We match you with 1–2 clients to build meaningful relationships while maintaining balance with your life.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older and able to pass background checks.
• DMV check, drug screen, valid driver’s license, auto insurance and SSN card.
• Ability to show poise and compassion for seniors, including hospice/end-of-life care.
• Good listener, friendly and polite, with patience.
• Willing to learn and follow care plans and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Alzheimer's & Dementia Care.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Occasional transportation to appointments/errands.
• Medication reminders and companionship/engagement.
• Hospice care as needed.

Duties And Responsibilities

Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Light Housekeeping, Meal Prep, Occasional Transportation to Appointments/Errands, Medication Reminders, Companionship & Engagement in Activities, Hospice Care.

Skills And Qualifications

18 or Older, Complete Background Check, DMV check and drug screen. Possess a valid drivers license auto insurance & social security card. Ability to exhibit poise and compassion for seniors and their property; Ability to perform with clients receiving Hospice care or end of life; Be a good & patient listener in a friendly and polite manner.

What happens after I apply?

If you meet all the above requirements, we will reach out to you after you apply to set up an interview. After completion of the interview, we will conduct a drug test, run your background & DMV check, verify auto insurance, and reference checks. We will set you up preliminary for your training contingent upon your passing of all above checks. You will then complete training and be matched up with a mentor to complete a shadow shift to have you prepared to work on your own with your client!
