Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking dedicated in-home caregivers in Morgantown, WV. You will provide non-medical support, companionship, and daily living assistance, delivering care with empathy and professionalism.

Shifts are flexible (days, evenings, weekdays, weekends). Receive paid orientation, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for recognition through monthly awards and referral bonuses.

Mansioni

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

A Day In The Field

Depending on their specific care plan, your daily duties may include:

• Companionship: Providing meaningful conversation and emotional support.
• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and general hygiene.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing food according to dietary needs and assisting with feeding if required.
• Light Housekeeping: Managing laundry, dishes, trash, and general tidying up.
• Medication Reminders: Prompting clients to take scheduled medications.
• Mobility Assistance: Aiding with safe transfers, repositioning, and using mobility equipment.
• Environment: One-on-one care provided in private residences
• Transportation: Driving the client to medical appointments, errands, and approved outings.
• Respite Care: Giving family caregivers a reliable, well-deserved break.
• Documentation: Logging shift activities and communicating any changes in the client’s condition.

You will help create a safe, respectful, and positive experience for every client by showing up on time, following care plan instructions, maintaining professional boundaries, and treating every home you enter with care and respect.

Qualifications

We’re looking for caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, professional, and genuinely committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care. Ideal candidates bring strong communication skills, good judgment, a positive attitude, and a real desire to help others.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Photo ID and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Kind, patient, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions accurately
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and physical mobility support
• Strong communication skills — able to interact professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but not required — what matters most is your character, your work ethic, and your willingness to learn

Success in this role requires consistency, accountability, respect for client preferences and privacy, and the ability to provide care that honors each client’s dignity, independence, and trust.
