Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate in-home Caregivers to support seniors on Maryland's Eastern Shore. You will provide non-medical companionship and personal care, helping clients stay independent at home.

Six counties are served, with flexible part-time shifts and competitive pay. Qualifications include at least 1 year of caregiving, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to complete a background check.
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position.
• CNA certification is a plus and may qualify you for additional client opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, activities, reading, games, and social interaction.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide mobility assistance, including walking, transfers, and the use of assistive devices.
• Follow each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Complete accurate documentation and daily caregiver notes.
• Observe and report changes or concerns regarding a client's condition.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the Comfort Keepers team.
• Help clients maintain their independence, safety, and quality of life at home.

At Comfort Keepers, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and companionship to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. As a trusted provider of in-home care services, we are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregivers to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Caregiver with Comfort Keepers, you will provide non-medical companionship and personal care assistance to seniors in six counties across Maryland's Eastern Shore, including Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Wicomico, and Queen Anne's Counties. If you have a passion for helping others and at least 1 year of caregiving experience, we would love to hear from you!

Pay: $16.00–$18.50 per hour, depending on assignment and qualifications
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling
Location: Eastern Shore of Maryland

Caregiver Responsibilities
