Qualifications

• Ability to arrive on time and maintain a dependable work schedule.
• Previous caregiving experience or related fields preferred.
• Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of care plans and their implementation is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy in interactions with clients.
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• CPR or First Aid certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks per state regulations.
• Must be over 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Provide standby assistance.
• Help prepare meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional health to family members or healthcare providers.
• Provide transportation for errands, appointments, etc.
