Job summary

Home Instead is hiring caregivers to support seniors in the greater Pittsburgh area. You’ll drive to client homes, with a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. The role offers a wage range and weekly pay, plus health benefits and a 401(k) match.

Training and education opportunities are included, along with mileage reimbursement for travel between visits. We offer full- and part-time schedules, paid holidays, sick leave, and a caregiver referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of three professional references.
• Willing to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s).
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills (bilingual candidates encouraged).
• Completion of any required compliance, license, or registration steps.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with seniors through companionship and care.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Help with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining independence and dignity.

Whether you're experienced or brand new to professional home care, our team is here to help you every step of the way. You'll be driving to client's homes in the greater Pittsburgh area, so a valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle are required.

• $15.00-$16.00/hr, plus $1/hr for weekend visits*
• Opportunity to earn up to $18.00/hr after your first 8 weeks**
• Weekly pay with direct deposit

**To be considered for the wage increase, you must meet Honor's requirements as a driver (valid U.S. drivers' license and clean driving record), have more than 6 months of paid/professional caregiving experience, work 20 visits in your first 8 weeks of employment, and remain in good standing with Honor. The $18.00 is for select regions and applies to weekend shifts with high transfer clients
