Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a part-time caregiver to support individuals in community-based settings in Bemidji, MN. You’ll work 1:1 with participants and assist with daily living activities and personal care, while promoting independence and well-being.

Shifts are mostly daytime, flexible, with no overnights and limited weekends. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and a valid driver's license with vehicle is required to participate in community activities.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to individuals to assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Encourage participation in community activities and support development of budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals.

Pay: 18 hourly

Parttime hours variable during the week mostly days

• Flexible schedule (no overnights; Occasional weekends)
• No Holidays
• No personal cares, medication administration or lifting/transferring
• Working 1:1 to support individuals
