Job summary

Cahoon Care Associates LLC is seeking dedicated in-home caregivers to support seniors in the Barnstable area. Provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain safety and comfort in clients' homes.

Candidates should have a passion for helping people, willingness to learn, and fluent English. Flexible shifts include mornings, evenings, overnights, weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Have a passion for helping people.
• Have been a caregiver for at least 2 years, or have the desire and willingness to learn.
• Experi­enced with individuals who have Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Are proficient with Activities of Daily Living (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Are proficient with ambulation and transfers.
• Fluent in English.
• Have reliable transportation, a willingness to drive clients in their car, current auto insurance, and a current Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care to clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Monitor and document client observations to report any changes in condition.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and their families to address needs and concerns.
