Right at Home in Artesia, CA is hiring In-Home Care Aides to join a dedicated team delivering in-home care with clinical support. The role offers a flexible schedule, paid training, and opportunities for growth, including paid travel time and mileage reimbursement.

Caregivers provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance, while receiving regular feedback and referrals bonuses. All shifts welcome new grads.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must pass a full employment background check.
• Must be able to provide Negative Tuberculosis Test.
• Be willing to provide care to both female and male.
• Be willing to provide personal care.

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene assistance (bathroom, bedpan, bathing, mouth care, shaving, skin care, hair).
• Transportation assistance.
• Feeding and meal preparation per instructions.
• Performs housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, dishes, laundry, linens).
• Med reminders and range of motion assistance with nurse guidance.
• Dementia care and incontinence support; showers or sponge baths as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Transportation
• Feeding
• Prepares meals according to instructions
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care
• Providing showers, bed baths, or sponge baths
• Providing brief changes or assistance with toileting

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
• Must be able to provide Negative Tuberculosis Test
• Be Willing to provide care to both Female and Males
• Be Willing to Provide Personal Care

Nice to Have’s:

• Home Care Aide (HCA) license is preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile
