Job summary

Right at Home Southwest Orlando is seeking a compassionate Retired Registered Nurse (RN) to support our home care team with a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who wants to continue making a meaningful difference in care for seniors and adults in need.

The RN will conduct in-home assessments, develop care plans, supervise caregivers, provide clinical guidance, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to support quality care

Qualifications

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Experience in home care, home health, hospice, or case management is preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Willingness to travel locally for client visits and transport.
• Compassionate, professional, and committed to high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home client assessments and reassessments.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Perform caregiver supervisory visits and competency evaluations.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers and office staff.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations.
• Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality assurance and client satisfaction initiatives.
