Visiting Angels of Paris, TX is hiring an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients across Sulphur Springs, Paris, Mt Pleasant, Clarksville, and other nearby towns. You will enrich quality of life and wellness through personalized care plans, including mobility support, meals, and companionship.

Ideal applicants possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with insurance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training required or provided.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary rules.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and a desire to brighten clients’ days.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Help with light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and safety planning.
• Escort clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and transfers at home and appointments.
