Visiting Angels Boerne is hiring an In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients across the Hill Country with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship. You’ll work in clients’ homes with flexible schedules and opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to manage multiple duties while following health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping, cooking, and meal planning while following dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with light exercise, mobility, and ambulation.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies and accompany clients on outings.
• Remind clients to take medications and monitor routines.
