Job summary

Optum is hiring a CNA Home Health aide to provide in-home personal care and designated health services, helping patients maintain physical and emotional well-being.

Requires Maryland CNA certification, valid driver's license or reliable transportation, CPR preferred, and 6+ months home care experience. Pay ranges from $17.20 to $25.85 per hour, with full-time benefits and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• MD: Must be certified by Maryland State Board of Nursing (CNA)
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, skin care)
• Assist with transfers and mobility in home settings
• Report client observations to supervisor
• Drive to client homes and comply with traffic regulations
• Support with household tasks essential to personal care
• Provide care regardless of client background and maintain dignity
