Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least six months of related experience or training.
• CNA license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility needs.
• Assist with meals and following prescribed diets.
• Help clients in and out of bed, chair, and wheelchair as needed.
• Remind clients to take medications as directed and report changes to the nurse.
• Provide social interaction through reading, games, or activities.
• Maintain records of services and report changes to Case Manager and family.
• Change bed linens, do laundry, and perform light housekeeping.
• Accompany ambulatory clients on outings as a guide and aide.
• Assist with exercises to improve range of motion and apply basic massages and treatments.
