Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for a quadraplegic male client. The role includes heavy bedbound care and using ceiling lifts, with responsibilities in bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

The HHA will also offer companionship and support, perform light housekeeping, monitor health, and accompany the client to appointments. Prior experience with complex home health cases is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with quadraplegic or heavy bedbound clients.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Comfort with mobility devices and ceiling lifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Colostomy cleaning assistance.
• Foley catheter cleaning assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to client.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and monitor nutrition.
• Monitor health status and report changes to supervisor.
• Transport client to medical appointments and errands.
