Job summary

VITALE NURSING INC is seeking a Home Care Aide to support patients in their Malibu homes. You will monitor conditions, assist with daily living activities, and educate families on safety and care routines.

The role involves in-home visits, flexible shifts, and collaboration with senior caregivers. Requires high school diploma, CA HCA registration, CPR, and 1+ year experience in caregiving or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and TB test results required.
• California HCA registration or eligibility required.
• State-mandated certifications may be required.
• 1+ years of experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or mental illnesses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient condition, provide personal and housekeeping services, and teach families.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
• Support patients by shopping for essentials, preparing meals, and running errands.
• Educate patients and families on safety, nutrition, and home care routines.
• Maintain a safe home environment and document patient information diligently.
